Social skills play a key role in a child's success both in and out of the academic arena. In fact, research has shown that the development of effective social skills promotes positive relationships, greater problem-solving abilities, stronger self-management skills, better self-esteem, and higher scholastic achievement. To foster and enhance healthy social and emotional learning, Social Skills Scholars focuses on developing greater self and social awareness. Every week, a new topic is introduced, discussed, and practiced using a dynamic variety of activities, projects, games, and stories.
